Supervisor - Food and Nutrition
Job Summary
The Food & Nutrition Supervisor at North Mississippi Health Services is responsible for overseeing the activities and performance of Food & Nutrition Services, especially Production & Utility workers, to ensure provision of efficient and high quality food services. This role collaborates with the Administrator of Food and Nutrition Services and engages area knowledge alongside excellent organizational and communication skills to recruit, manage and develop personnel, plan department activities, monitor food quality, pursue ongoing performance and service improvement, assist in department goal and budget development, and interface effectively with patients and other stakeholders to promote optimized food services. As a supervisor, this role oversees and guides a team of employees to ensure efficient task completion, promoting teamwork and effective coordination.
