Nursing Supervisor - Skilled Nursing - Evenings - M-F

About the role

The primary purpose of the Nursing Supervisor (RN or LPN) position is to provide direct nursing care to your assigned residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility and may be required by the Director of Nursing or his/her designee to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned residents
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations
• May be required to assist with the Director of Nursing or his/her designee

Requirements

• Must possess at minimum, a nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved RN or LPN program
• Must have a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of Massachusetts
• At least two years of RN or LPN work experience required
• Prior Supervisor experience preferred
