Our Team Taunton Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Taunton, MA, is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers—the nation's leader in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. We provide a continuum of care that includes Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Office-Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and mobile treatment units. Responsibilities
- Ensure the Medication Room of the clinic is in full compliance with all facility or clinic policies, Federal and State Laws and Regulations at all times.
- Supervise daily clinical operations for staff, makes staff assignments and creates schedules, updates schedules for providers and support staff when changes are made.
- Supervise and evaluate work activities of nursing, technical, clerical, service or maintenance staff for the work group, and other clinic staff, as directed.
- Ensure medical records for patients are in compliance with facility or clinic policies, Federal and State Laws and Regulations at all times, reviews medical records to ensure compliance.
- Oversee quality assurance activities and compliance with operational standards, participates in program development, development or implementation of operating policy and procedure, and promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices, as requested.
- Aid in the recruitment, hiring and training of new staff.
- May be required to administer medications per physician/provider orders, accurately document medication administration, and ensure accurate count of controlled substance medication administration on required documents.
- May be required to perform blood and other specimen collection and processing and read test results as ordered by Program Physicians.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN)
- Minimum of 2+ years related nursing practice
- Supervisory experience preferred, unless otherwise required by State or Licensing requirements.
- Preferred experience in behavioral health/addiction recovery environment (inpatient or outpatient).
- Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including the safe handling, administration, and documentation of methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
- Experience in medication dispensing, monitoring patient dosing, and observing for adverse reactions or medication interactions.
- Understanding of nursing best practices related to substance use treatment, including trauma-informed care and harm reduction principles.
- Accurate and timely documentation of medication administration records (MARs), patient vitals, and incident reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., DEA, 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards) related to controlled substances and patient care.
- Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, counselors, case managers, and support staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Current LPN/LVN license in the state of MA
- CPR certification where required by state regulation.
Skills
Accurate and timely documentation of medication administration records (MARs), patient vitals, and incident reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., DEA, 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards) related to controlled substances and patient care.

Compensation for roles at Taunton CTC varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Taunton CTC provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Massachusetts as set forth below.
