Nursing Supervisor

About the role

Lifepoint Behavioral Health is seeking a passionate, creative and goal-oriented Behavioral Health Nursing Supervisor to join the team at Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Functions under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer and assumes responsibility for the Nursing Department as assigned.
• Is the leader in charge when administration is out of the building.
• Implements nursing goals and objectives based on budget parameters.
• Supervises nursing staff, assesses patients’ needs and provides nursing care for patients.
• Plans and organizes training for unit staff members, and participates in guidance and educational programs.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Valid state Registered Nurse license.
• 3-5 years of nursing experience in a behavioral health hospital environment.
• 1 to 2 years supervisory/leadership experience.

Pay

Salary range: $45 - $60 per hour.
