Pay
$71,335.76
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with management of triage on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the Wellness Coordination program, including supervising and managing nursing operations in a select area.
- Develop and monitor medical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
- Assure each individual receives quality, individualized health care management resulting in optimal health.
- Supervise and manage nursing staff effectively.
- Ensure completion and/or review of the Wellness Assessment, Risk Mitigation Tool, and Wellness Plan for each individual receiving Wellness Coordination services.
- Ensure face-to-face visits occur and are documented as outlined in the DDRS Wellness Coordination Guide.
- Provide leadership and direction in promoting the organization’s mission, policies, and procedures.
- Assure consistency and quality of health care services for people receiving Dungarvin services.
- Act as a resource to area directors, program directors, and nursing staff regarding medical issues, rules, and regulations governing medical care.
- Provide consultation to area directors and program directors to determine appropriate nursing services for new consumers.
- Assist in setting up health care systems in new programs.
- Provide nursing oversight to individuals supported by Dungarvin.
- Ensure health care and related documentation meet licensure requirements, organizational policy, and individual needs.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a current license to practice nursing in the State of Indiana.
- Strong reading, writing, and communication skills for documenting care, following support plans, and collaborating with team members.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Successful background clearance as part of the onboarding/employment process.
Qualifications
- Prior nursing experience working with individuals with intellectual, physical, and behavioral disabilities (preferred).
- Supervisory experience (desired).
