Schedule

Full time, Day shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM). Occasional flexibility for nights and weekends may be required (night shift flexing more common; weekend is rare).

Responsibilities

• Leads strategies based on industry and organizational data to implement initiatives improving nursing care delivery.
• Provides leadership in developing programs to support career pathways for team members within the nursing workforce pipeline.
• Collaborates with academic and community organizations to create experiential learning opportunities for students and prospective allied health and nursing employees.
• Conducts periodic assessments and evaluations of innovative nursing programs, implementing changes as necessary.
• Works with leaders and stakeholders to identify, implement, and evaluate processes that drive exceptional clinical outcomes through nursing workforce innovation.
• Participates in organizational leadership programs to oversee clinical quality training and develop measures to improve patient care quality.

Requirements

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to work as a team player within a unit
• Effective verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills
• EKG competency
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal, and written skills)
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft Windows-based programs
• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes
• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
• 1+ years in an acute care hospital setting [Preferred]
• Registered Nurse (RN) license [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

$70,682.60 - $131,480.21
