About the role
This leadership role supports the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in overseeing all nursing and patient care services within a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing practices at the unit level
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate patient care
- Maintain staff competency
- Manage resources effectively
- Assume 24/7 responsibility of assigned areas
- Perform related tasks as needed
Requirements
- Current registered nurse license
- Nursing degree
- At least 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will hold a bachelor's or master's degree.
