About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct clinical patient care, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care on a shift and unit basis. The RN supervises staff delegated care, ensures delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective nursing services, and coordinates patient care according to medical protocols. Additionally, the RN supports the Chief Nursing Officer in maintaining clinical competency, resource management, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical patient care, including assessment, planning, and implementation.
  • Supervise staff delegated to deliver patient care.
  • Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective nursing services.
  • Coordinate patient care according to medical protocols.
  • Support the Chief Nursing Officer in maintaining clinical competency and resource management.
  • Adhere to safety standards and infection control protocols.
  • Perform all hospital incident command system duties during emergencies.
  • Understand and respond to emergency codes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
  • Holds current licensure, certification, and CPR.

Qualifications

A bachelor's or master's degree in nursing is preferred.
