Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Step Down

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct clinical patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients on a shift basis.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff delegated to care for patients.
• Ensure high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing services.
• Coordinate patient care within medical protocols.
• Support the Chief Nursing Officer in maintaining clinical competency and resource management.
• Adhere to safety standards, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control protocols.
• Perform all Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergencies.
• Understand emergency codes and follow hospital policies.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Current licensure or certification as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification.
• Preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and coordinate care effectively.
