About the role
This leadership role supports the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in overseeing nursing and patient care services within a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices at the unit level
- Maintain 24/7 accountability for assigned areas
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
- Promote staff competency
- Manage resources effectively
- Provide leadership and support to clinical staff
- Ensure compliance with standards
- Foster a culture of excellence in patient care
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years management experience in a hospital
- Academic degree in nursing
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing
