Nursing Manager of PACU

Join our team as a day‑shift, full‑time Recovery (PACU) Manager of Nursing (RN) in Amarillo, TX. You will work within Physicians Surgical Hospitals, which includes two surgical centers—Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital—plus a physical therapy center (Quail Creek Physical Therapy) and a state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic imaging center (Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with overall leadership responsibilities of the department in accordance with established nursing standards, philosophy, and BSA mission/vision.
• Serve as a vital link between management and clinical staff.
• Strive to achieve efficient, safe, and cost‑effective patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a BSN, or actively enrolled/pursuing a BSN (must be completed within 24 months).
• Current RN license in the State of Texas.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification corresponding to the area of service.
• Previous acute‑care experience (preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills in a healthcare environment (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (preferred).
• Three years of experience in the clinical specialty (preferred).
