Nursing Manager

About the role

The Nursing Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the nursing staff at Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine, ensuring patient care quality and compliance with healthcare standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing staff and ensure adherence to healthcare policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement patient care plans based on clinical assessments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Manage staff schedules and resources effectively.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• At least 5 years of nursing management experience.
• Experience in behavioral health settings preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with electronic health records systems.
