Nursing Assistant Student – Blue Mountain Care Center | Full-Time
Position Summary
Blue Mountain Hospital District provides a state-approved nursing assistant training program. Successful completion of this course will enable you to take the state exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. The next nursing assistant training program is scheduled to begin in August 2026.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Follow the Nursing Assistant Program Student Code of Conduct which includes:
- Attendance: Necessary to develop competence; missing more than 2 days may result in removal from the program.
- Punctuality: Effective time management to arrive on time despite transportation issues.
- Transportation: Reliable daily transportation to and from facility.
- Communication: Professional and appropriate communication with instructor, peers, and clinical staff.
- Honesty and Integrity: Highest level of honesty and integrity; lying, cheating, or plagiarism may result in removal.
- Criminal History: Disclosure of past criminal records; review by Program Administration before acceptance.
- Safety: Understanding and adherence to safety and infection control practices.
- Cell Phones: Only allowed in the classroom setting as an educational tool.
- Dress Code: Compliance with programs dress code policy.

Preferred: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Min – $20/hour
