About the role

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to patients during the scheduled work period, providing patient‑centered nursing care and assistance with daily living activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic health care needs and daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, meal preparation, and dining.
• Address patients’ emotional and spiritual needs.
• Administer delegated tasks and treatments.
• Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
• Collect non‑invasive biological specimens as needed.
• Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient health care.
• Prepare patient treatment areas, clean medical equipment, and dispose of biomedical waste according to policy.
• Clean patient living areas or treatment rooms.
• Provide one‑on‑one care to patients when necessary for safe provision of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred but not required).
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
• Maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
• For positions in North Dakota or Minnesota, non‑CNA applicants must be on the NA Registry of the respective state within four months of hire.
• For positions in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with current work eligibility, or be a student nurse enrolled in an approved program with a basic nursing course and 16 hours of clinical experience.

Pay

Salary range: $16.00 – $24.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Full‑time position.
• 12‑hour night shifts.
• Weekly hours: 36.00.
