Inpatient Nursing Assistant

About the role

Provide compassionate patient support by assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe, clean environment. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality care and respond promptly to patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting
• Support meal service and monitor patient intake
• Take and document vital signs, reporting changes
• Respond to call lights and patient requests
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Support patient transport and unit tasks
• Provide emotional support to patients and families
• Work collaboratively with nurses and team members

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of a Nurse's Aide program
• Previous healthcare or hospital experience
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred

Work Environment & Requirements

• Perform in both office and patient care areas with frequent walking, standing, and lifting
• Work in a fast-paced setting with potential interruptions
• Use PPE as per infection control policies
• Exposure to cleaning solutions and disinfectants
• Serve patients of all age groups
