About the Role
Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting, while supporting meal service and monitoring intake.
Responsibilities
- Take and document vital signs
- Respond promptly to patient needs
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Assist with patient transport
- Provide emotional support
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care and positive outcomes
Requirements
- Preferred high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Nurse’s Aide program
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and proper use of PPE
Work Environment
- Perform duties in patient care areas and offices, often near other staff and patients
- Exposure to cleaning solutions and disinfectants
- Must adhere to infection control policies
- Work in rooms with climate control
