Nursing Assistant I

About the role

Southcoast Health is searching for a talented Nursing Assistant I at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. This is a full-time day shift position with weekend and holiday rotation, scheduled from 7:00am to 7:00pm. A $1,500 new hire sign-on bonus is available for this position (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible).

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision of individually assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or designee, perform a variety of duties including basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support, maintain patient environment, and provide assistance to licensed staff in carrying out other related duties

Qualifications

• Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred
• Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the equivalent is required
• Current CPR Certification is required
• Three (3) months experience in an acute care or long term setting is preferred
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Pay

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay range: USD $19.37 - USD $26.80 /Hr.
