Nursing Assistant - Acute Care - Cardiac Telemetry - Full-Time Day Shift

Role: Nursing Assistant in Acute Care with a focus on Cardiac Telemetry, supporting patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities: Assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and basic patient care such as hygiene, ambulation, and comfort measures. Support clinical tasks including phlebotomy, dressing changes, and Foley catheter management based on unit needs. Participate in patient rounding, communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team, and ensure safety and confidentiality. Transport supplies and medications, maintain equipment, and support unit operations. Contribute to patient experience and safety initiatives, document care accurately, and uphold infection control standards.Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; current BLS certification; preferred completion of a CNA or Patient Care Tech program. Must demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams. Must be capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and work compassionately under stress. Key Duties: Promote a positive patient experience, adhere to safety protocols, support care team efforts, and maintain professionalism and organization in all tasks. Must follow policies, document care properly, and communicate effectively to ensure quality patient care.
