Nursing Assistant - Acute Care - Cardiac Telemetry - Full-Time Night Shift

About the Role

This position is for a Nursing Assistant Advanced in Acute Care with a focus on Cardiac Telemetry, working full-time night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care by assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, and advanced procedures such as phlebotomy, EKGs, dressing changes, urinary catheter management, and telemetry initiation.
• Support the healthcare team through teamwork, communication, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control by following protocols and maintaining a safe environment.
• Act as a liaison for patient communication and coordinate with diagnostic areas.
• Support staff orientation and precept new technicians.
• Perform basic and advanced patient care tasks.
• Promote safety and infection control.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Adhere to organizational policies and standards of conduct.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in acute or similar settings.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under stress and attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency.
• Prior CNA certification is preferred.
