Nursery PK2 Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a part-time Catholic assistant for our Nursery and PK2 room for up to 15 hours per week during the 2026-27 academic year at our center in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Teach everything you need to know about nursery and PK2 curriculum
• Provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards
• Prepare for classes at home and come to class prepared to teach in a highly structured environment

Requirements

• No teaching certification or formal teaching experience required
• Experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children, ministry in your Catholic parish, teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes, teaching your own children, or teaching in a classical or private school is helpful but not required
• Must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and have a deep love for the Catholic faith
• Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred
