Catholic Nursery/PK2 Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a part-time Catholic assistant for our Nursery and PK2 room for up to 15 hours per week during the 2026-27 academic year at our center in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the Nursery and PK2 room
• Provide care and instruction in a structured classroom environment
• Prepare for classes at home and arrive prepared to teach
• Follow curriculum and grading guidelines provided by Regina Caeli Academy
• Participate in classroom management according to RCA standards

Requirements

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church
• Deep love for the Catholic faith and living it day-to-day
• Must have received all sacraments appropriate to one’s state in life
• Willingness to complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training

Qualifications

• Experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children
• Ministry in a Catholic parish
• Teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes
• Teaching one’s own children
• Teaching in a classical or private school

Schedule

• Mondays and Thursdays, 8:15 am – 3:30 pm
