Catholic Nursery/PK2 Caregiver

About the role

Part‑time Caregiver position caring for children ages infant to two years old in a classical and Catholic classroom at Regina Caeli Academy’s center in St. Leo, Florida. The role is hourly, up to 14 hours per week, and includes childcare/nursery provision.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and supervision for infants and toddlers in a classroom setting.
• Deliver instruction and manage the classroom according to RCA standards.
• Prepare lessons and materials at home before class.
• Maintain a structured, traditional learning environment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Willingness to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Deep love for the Catholic faith and living it day‑to‑day.
• Having received the sacraments appropriate to one’s state in life.
• Clear background check and completion of RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.

Qualifications

• Experience homeschooling, working with homeschool children, ministry in a Catholic parish, teaching Religious Education or Catechism, or teaching your own children is beneficial (but not required).
• Experience in a classical or private school setting is a plus.
• No teaching certification or formal teaching experience required; training will be provided.

Schedule
