  Duties

  • Headquartered in the county nearest the selected candidate.
  • Vacancy available across multiple counties: Butte, Contra Costa, Fresno, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Sonoma, & Ventura Counties.
  • Starting salary rate of $9,293 under Pay Scales Section 5.
  • Recruitment and Retention Differential of $200 per month.
  • Requires extensive and frequent travel to health care facilities.
  • Works under the direction of the Nurse Surveyor Supervisor I and II.
  • Subject to Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025 with a 3% salary reduction in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027.

    Qualifications

    • A valid Registered Nursing (RN) license is required.
    • Lower-level licenses such as LVN are not qualifying for this classification.
