Directs, plans, and coordinates the service activities and staffing performance of professional nursing and agency nursing personnel in rendering quality patient care. Provides, coordinates, and directs patient care. Responsibilities include: Provides direct and indirect skilled nursing care to patients Implementation and management of physician orders related to nursingSelects, trains, develops, and motivates a highly skilled professional and allied staff. Assures that departmental staff complete orientation, maintain clinical competence, performs supervisory visits, participate in continuing education, received counseling and are evaluated in a timely manner. Assure that patient verification, assessment, teaching and the ongoing scheduling of nursing services occurs in a timely and appropriate manner. Assures that all patient related documentation is accurately completed, submitted and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process. Participates in planning, decision-making and implementation of all service center activities that affect clinical nursing services and the performance of the multi-disciplinary team. Secures and maintains all applicable professional certifications, accreditations and employment requirements as required of the nursing staff and department. Coordination of patient care in conjunction with nurse scheduler and or clinical coordinatorAssures all nursing documentation is accounted for and billed in a timely mannerPromotes efficiency and productivity of nursing dept in conjunction with nurse managerWorks closely with the Nurse Manager and Operations Manager to assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate clinical and administrative policies, procedures, programs and systems. Assures own professional growth and clinical competence. Adheres to all policies, procedures and standards of conduct. Reports to the appropriate management any known or suspected violations of policies, procedures, regulations or standards of conduct. Schedule: Ability to work Full time, In office, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, 40 hours per week with flexibility as neededMust be able to drive your own vehicle up to 60 miles one direction to see patients as needed (we offer mileage reimbursement and hourly rate of pay- even when driving!)Must be knowledgeable and have used the following IV access devices to include: IV lines, accessing ports, and administration of infusion medicationsMust have a minimum of 3 years RN experience with a minimum of 1 year home infusion experience including the additional experience belowMust have a minimum of 1 year Nurse Supervisory/manager/leadership experience working as an RN - preferred Specialty Infusion Pharmacy or Infusion Nurse ManagerMust be able to provide infusions to patients in their homes as well as the infusion suite as needed in the areas of: Hayward, San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, and San JoseMust be able to participate in an on-call rotation: every other week including the weekendMust have California RN License in goodstandingMust have BSN Degree Requirements Current RN Licensure by the applicable state’s Board of Nursing, in good standingBachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institutionAdvanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g. CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not requiredMinimum 3 years Nursing practice in a related specialty such as home infusion and or specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy or critical careMinimum 2 years Pediatric Nursing experience idealClinical expertise in IV therapies with monitoring, skill and knowledge of all types of IV linesMinimum 1 year management experience, proven ability to manage, train and educate staff on new protocols and existing standard operating proceduresAbility to work with all levels of employees in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple complex projectsKnowledge of vascular access devices and infusion therapiesMust be able to participate in an on-call rotationMust have emergency availabilityStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with MS Office About Us: Soleo Health is an innovative national provider of complex specialty pharmacy and infusion services, administered in the home or at alternate sites of care.
