About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Supervisor, RN to oversee daily nursing operations in a specialty clinic focused on dermatology and oncology.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating nursing staff activities
- Overseeing clinical operations and addressing practice issues
- Directing patient care activities such as assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Providing professional nursing care aligned with standards
- Assisting physicians with treatments and clinical procedures
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Fostering a caring and professional environment for patients, families, and staff
- Ensuring adherence to organizational values and policies
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Valid RN license and CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred
Skills
- Strong clinical expertise and patient care skills
- Knowledge of medications, treatments, and diagnostics
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Leadership, organization, and ability to support self-care education
- Calm response in emergencies and proficiency with clinical documentation
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks
