About the role
The River Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team of Nurse Supervisors. Part‑time Nurse Supervisors work two 12‑hour shifts weekly.
Responsibilities
- Provides immediate, specialized patient care with a multidisciplinary provider team.
- Oversees the nursing care delivered and the organizational day‑to‑day structure of all units within the hospital.
Qualifications
- Valid and current registration.
- New York State RN license.
- BLS certification upon hire.
- ACLS and PALS certification.
- Minimum of five years of nursing experience in direct patient care.
- Previous nurse leadership/management experience preferred.
Requirements
- Employee must know the requirements for certification, limited permit and licensure for their profession.
- Employee must notify the employer of the status of any certification or licensure issue or potential issue.
- Employee must comply with all requirements outlined by the New York State Office of Professions for the particular profession.
Schedule
- Regular day, evening, night and weekend shifts.
- Part‑time schedule: two 12‑hour shifts per week.
Pay
Night Shift Supervisors receive a 10 % differential added to the base pay.
