About the Role

Oversee nursing operations during evening and night shifts, ensuring efficient departmental functions, staffing, and compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Delegate authority across nursing departments
• Plan and coordinate departmental functions
• Manage staffing and coverage
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards
• Act as a role model and support patient care decisions
• Maintain confidentiality
• Manage Resource Team/PRN staff
• Collaborate with other departments
• Perform disciplinary actions when needed

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of RN experience
• Current Texas nursing license
• Current CPR certification
• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Leadership experience
• Critical care experience
