Nurse Supervisor

Schedule

3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday; weekend on‑call rotation every 6–8 weeks; 2 out of 3 major holidays per year.

Summary

• Manage resident care needs according to care plans
• Supervise and coach staff on shift to ensure standards of care are met
• Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols
• Accurately document and maintain records of medical information, care plans, and incidents to ensure regulatory compliance and consistency of care
• Communicate effectively with residents and residents’ families
• Advocate for residents’ rights and preferences, ensuring their voices are heard and respected in all aspects of care
• Participate in on‑call weekend rotations approximately every 6–8 weeks and 2 out of 3 major holidays per year

Requirements

• Current Maine RN license
• Experience working as a nurse manager or supervisor
