Nurse Supervisor

About the role

The Nurse Supervisor oversees nursing care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, providing leadership to ensure the delivery of compassionate, tailored patient care.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing personalized care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serving as a liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervising nursing services during assigned shifts or units, including staff management, performance evaluations, and discipline.
• Providing direct patient care when necessary and building relationships to support recovery.
• Celebrating patient progress and ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as per state regulations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification within one year; CRRN certification within one year of eligibility.
• Minimum of two years recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Previous leadership experience in a clinical setting, responsible for staff supervision, issue resolution, and accountability for patient and staff outcomes.
