About the role
Provide direct patient care within the ICU, serving diverse age groups including Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, quality care, and assume clinical leadership and relief charge duties when designated.
- Implement individualized care plans, administer medications (including IV), assist with tests and procedures, and respond to emergencies.
- Maintain patient safety by following policies, reporting concerns, and promoting a safe environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team, document accurately, and ensure patient records are complete.
- Participate in orientation, precept new staff, and foster a positive work environment.
- Encourage patient participation and provide education for discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- RN license in applicable state.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Basic Arrhythmia certification within 1 year.
- ACLS certification within 6 months.
- TNCC certification within 6 months of hire.
- Experience is not mandatory; bilingual skills are a plus.
