About the role
The Nurse Supervisor leads and supervises nursing staff in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, ensuring the delivery of compassionate, individualized patient care while implementing policies and procedures. The role emphasizes leadership, clinical expertise, and fostering a positive, team-driven environment dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Developing care programs
- Acting as a liaison between administration and staff
- Managing staff performance
- Engaging directly in patient care to foster recovery
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure
- BLS certification (with ACLS and CRRN certifications within specified timeframes)
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- At least two years of recent inpatient hospital experience
- Previous leadership experience such as charge nurse responsibilities required
