About the role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate ADON/Nurse Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader passionate about resident care, staff support, and excellence in long-term care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff on assigned shifts
- Coordinate daily clinical operations and resident care
- Ensure compliance with state and federal nursing regulations
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and nursing assignments
- Support admissions, discharges, and care planning processes
- Monitor nursing documentation and clinical outcomes
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to nursing staff
- Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns professionally and compassionately
- Participate in quality improvement and infection control initiatives
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model for the nursing team
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN license required
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- CPR certification required
