About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Supervisor to join our team at AdviniaCare Waterview Villa. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in overseeing the care of our residents and supporting our nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing floor nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Overseeing the complete records of CNA care and CNA documentation
- Assisting with the inputting of resident admissions
- Demonstrating leadership capabilities and ensuring a positive and respectful work environment
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff on second shift
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure that residents are receiving quality care and attention
- Develop and implement strategies to improve care and services for our residents
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
- RN or LPN license required
- Full time, 3p-11p
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassion and empathy for seniors and their families
