Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 years RN experience. The Cancer Outcomes Research and Education department is seeking a Registered Nurse Research Interventionist to facilitate the delivery of a Supportive Care research intervention.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage nursing research projects from conceptualization to completion.
- Develop research protocols, design data collection methods, and create project timelines.
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to inform research design and identify gaps in nursing knowledge.
- Implement data collection methods, including surveys, interviews, observations, or clinical data extraction.
- Analyze research data using statistical methods and software.
- Interpret results, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on research findings.
- Prepare and submit research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Ensure research projects comply with ethical standards and institutional review board (IRB) requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree Nursing Required
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
- Clinical nursing experience 2-3 years required
- Experience in nursing research, including study design, data collection, and analysis 3-5 years required
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Strong knowledge of research methodologies and statistical analysis.
- Excellent communication and writing skills for publication and presentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and IRB processes.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, critical decision-making, and professional judgment skills.
