Nurse Practitioner - Women's Health

About the role

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations on women, including gynecological conditions such as contraception, infertility, menopause
• Order screening and diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound, mammography
• Perform and interpret screening procedures to include cervical screening, endometrial biopsies, colposcopies and IUD insertion
• Prescribe therapies and medications

Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an approved OB/GYN or women’s health nurse practitioner program
• Or master’s degree from an approved Family Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife program with women’s health/gynecology experience
• National Certification through NCC, ANCC, AANP or AMCB
• Any State License
• Must be able to perform IUD insertion/removal, colposcopies and Nexplanon
• Two years of experience in past three years
