Nurse Practitioner - Women's Health

About the role

We are seeking a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team of providers, making a difference in our healthcare. This role is designed to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to women across the lifespan, focusing on reproductive, gynecologic, and preventive health.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and reproductive healthcare for women across the lifespan
• Perform office-based procedures and exams (pelvic exams, Pap smears, STI testing)
• Diagnose and treat gynecologic and reproductive health conditions
• Offer contraception counseling, prescribe birth control, and support family planning
• Deliver prenatal and postpartum care for low-risk pregnancies
• Assist in our mission to provide access to quality care to all
• Work with a diverse, underserved patient population in the heart of Dallas
• Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources
• Work with a diverse, underserved patient population in the heart of Dallas

Requirements

• MSN, BSN, or NP from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent
• Current RN or NP license to practice in the state of Texas
• Registered and have current DEA, DPS, and other such certificates to legally operate as a practitioner in the State of Texas or be able to obtain
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
• Excellent patient engagement and communication skills
• Experience in community health centers and/or non-profits is preferred
• Experience serving multicultural and multilingual patient populations
• Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar
• MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
