Join the team at University Medical Center New Orleans (UMC), home to Louisiana's only verified Level I Trauma Center, and play a vital role in delivering advanced critical care to some of the region's most complex trauma patients. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to practice at the top of their license within a high-acuity Trauma Intensive Care Unit. As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary trauma team, you will work alongside nationally recognized trauma and critical care physicians while caring for critically injured patients throughout their recovery journey. Work in a busy, high-acuity Level I Trauma Center. Collaborate with Dr. Patrick Greiffenstein, Trauma ICU Director, Dr. Allison Smith, Trauma Medical Director, and the Trauma ICU attending physician team. Full integration into the UMC Trauma Service as a valued member of the Trauma Team. Opportunity to practice the full scope of an Advanced Practice Provider in a dynamic academic and clinical environment.
