Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - On-Call!

Schedule

• On call Mon-Fri, 7pm-7am

Compensation

• $150/hr for active hours
• $20/hr for passive hours

Organizational Duties And Responsibilities

• Supports the values, mission, and vision of MBI Industrial Medicine, Inc.
• Supports the facilities positive interaction with others
• Exhibits effective communication skills
• Works in partnership with the Clinic Administrator and Center Medical Director

Job Functions

• Provides healthcare to patients both in clinic and via tele-medicine
• Consults Center medical director or on-site staff physician for recommendations on clinical management and treatment plans
• Performs complete history and physical exams
• Provides medical opinion regarding job accommodations
• Evaluates and manages various work-related injuries and conditions
• Prescribes appropriate medications and therapy
• Orders and interprets radiographs
• Refers for specialized testing and specialty care
• Identifies appropriate limitations to activity
• Communicates with employers about treatment plans and work capacity

Certifications/Skills Requirements

• Master’s degree and/or appropriate licensure to work as a N.P. or P.A.
• FMCSA certified for DOT exams (certification within 90 days of hire)
• Active full DEA license
• Current BLS certificate
• High degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Maintains confidentiality
