Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Join the HealthCARE Express Team. We are looking for compassionate, confident Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants who thrive in a fast-paced urgent care environment. If you enjoy variety, caring for patients of all ages, and being part of a team that works hard while having fun, we'd love to meet you. Two years of experience in urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations
- Order and interpret laboratory testing as appropriate
- Diagnose illnesses and develop treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and treatments according to current standards of care
- Perform simple office procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Follow infection control and safety procedures, including proper handling of sharps and body fluids
- Deliver care that reflects current medical best practices while creating a positive, customer-friendly patient experience
- Supervise and mentor medical staff with a focus on teaching, coaching, and professionalism when established protocols are not in place
- Cross-train and assist with responsibilities outside your normal scope of practice as needed
- Take initiative to support the team and help move the clinic forward while representing the mission, vision, and values of HealthCARE Express
Schedule
- Part-time
- 12-hour shifts
- Weekday shifts required
Pay
$65/hour and up (depending on experience)
