Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.

Responsibilities

• Conducting in-person disability assessments
• Reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal
• Accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA forms
• Providing medical opinions based on assessment findings

Qualifications and Skills

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web portals
• Empathetic and professional demeanor in Veteran interactions

Schedule

Part-time, in-person role with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans per day. Predictable schedule with no on-call duties.
