Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or medication prescribing.

Responsibilities

• Conducting in-person disability assessments for Veterans.
• Reviewing and analyzing electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA forms.
• Providing medical opinions based on assessment findings.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• 2,080+ supervised hours.

Skills

• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based portals.
• Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills.
• Empathetic and professional demeanor when engaging with Veterans.

Schedule

Part-time, 2-3 days per week, in-person role with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans per day.
