Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Full-Time

About the role

An experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is sought to join an urgent care team, providing diagnosis and treatment for common medical conditions such as sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections, and wellness services including exams and immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients across age groups, including pediatric and adult populations.
• Work autonomously with limited administrative tasks, collaborating with physicians as needed.
• Provide routine health exams, screenings, immunizations, and wellness services.
• Handle approximately six night calls per year and work in a schedule that includes weekends, without overnight shifts or mandatory extra shifts.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing (NP) or completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification or eligibility and state licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of six months of advanced practitioner experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care.
• Ability to treat patients from age one and older.
