Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Physician Assistant (PA), Cardiology Clinic
About the role
As a provider in this clinic practice, you would work in a collaborative environment with supportive cardiologists and excellent support staff. The NP/PA would manage patients with acute and chronic cardiology disorders including Heart Failure, Ischemic Heart Disease, Valvular Heart Disease and Arrhythmias in La Crosse and other locations as needed. You would provide expert knowledge when consulted and refer patients to other hospital specialty services when needed. While role is primarily clinic oriented, clinicians have the potential opportunity to expand into a hybrid role with periodic hospital care.
Responsibilities
- Manage patients with acute and chronic cardiology disorders including Heart Failure, Ischemic Heart Disease, Valvular Heart Disease and Arrhythmias in La Crosse and other locations as needed.
- Provide expert knowledge when consulted and refer patients to other hospital specialty services when needed.
- Work in a collaborative environment with supportive cardiologists and excellent support staff.
- Potentially expand into a hybrid role with periodic hospital care.
Requirements
- Must have completed an accredited program and be eligible to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations.
- Advanced practice clinicians work under the direct supervision of a physician.
- Clinicians may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system.
