Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

An independent nonprofit community hospital in Oregon’s scenic Willamette Valley is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing outpatient cardiology program. About the role

• 100% outpatient cardiology
• No call responsibilities
• Flexible scheduling with 4-day workweek option
• Join a lean, highly collaborative cardiology team:
  • 1 Cardiologist
  • 1 dedicated PA
• Strong APP autonomy with physician support
• AI scribe support + dedicated MA support (1:1 ratio)
• Focus on:
  • Cardiac follow-ups
  • EKG interpretation
  • Surgical clearance evaluations
  • Chronic cardiovascular disease management

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac follow-ups
• Interpret EKGs
• Conduct surgical clearance evaluations
• Manage chronic cardiovascular disease

Requirements

• NP or PA certification required
• 1–2+ years of Cardiology or Internal Medicine experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently in an outpatient setting
• Strong communication and patient relationship skills
• Experience interpreting EKGs strongly preferred

Pay

• Base salary starting around $135,000
• $135,000 - $182,000 based on experience
• $10,000–$15,000 sign-on bonus
• $10,000 relocation assistance
