An independent nonprofit community hospital in Oregon’s scenic Willamette Valley is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing outpatient cardiology program. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, patient-focused team within a true community hospital model serving rural and underserved populations throughout the region.
About the role
- 100% outpatient cardiology
- No call responsibilities
- Flexible scheduling with 4-day workweek option
- Join a lean, highly collaborative cardiology team:
- 1 Cardiologist
- 1 dedicated PA
- Strong APP autonomy with physician support
- AI scribe support + dedicated MA support (1:1 ratio)
- Focus on:
- Cardiac follow-ups
- EKG interpretation
- Surgical clearance evaluations
- Chronic cardiovascular disease management
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac follow-ups
- Interpret EKGs
- Conduct surgical clearance evaluations
- Manage chronic cardiovascular disease
Requirements
- NP or PA certification required
- 1–2+ years of Cardiology or Internal Medicine experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently in an outpatient setting
- Strong communication and patient relationship skills
- Experience interpreting EKGs strongly preferred
Pay
- Base salary starting around $135,000
- $135,000 - $182,000 based on experience
- $10,000–$15,000 sign-on bonus
- $10,000 relocation assistance
