Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

About the Role

Locum tenens Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position in a hospital inpatient setting. No procedure skills required.

Schedule

2 weeks per month — 7 days on, 7 off. Sunday–Saturday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm. No overnights, no on-call.

Pay

$101.85 – $110.25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Manage follow-up patients on the cardiology rounding service.
• Provide discharge instructions.
• Manage post-procedure care.

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Michigan state medical license
• Credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record
