Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, Cardiology

About the role

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology team at our practice located at 140 Yarmouth Road in Hyannis, MA.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and education to a designated patient population in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on the outcomes of diagnostic, laboratory, and physical examination findings.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to organizational and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Consistently provides high-quality and timely documentation, including admission and progress notes, procedure notes, operative notes, and discharge summaries.
• Performs bedside procedures as are appropriate to the patient population.
• Serves as a resource to other providers and staff members.
• Supervises, interprets, and reviews diagnostic testing results.

Requirements

• Master's Degree Nursing required.
• Experience working as an NP in cardiology strongly preferred.
• EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse [APRN-NP - State License] - Generic - HR Only required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR).

$126,838.40 - $173,867.20/Annual
