Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Cardiology

Qualifications

Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Florida license or actively in the process of obtaining
Cardiology experience preferred — genuinely not required
New NP and PA graduates with strong interest in cardiovascular medicine welcome
Patient-focused, team-oriented, and committed to high-quality care

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in clinic and hospital settings
  • Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, hospital rounding, and cardiovascular consults
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing including EKGs, labs, cardiac imaging, and stress tests
  • Develop and implement treatment plans collaboratively with supervising cardiologists
  • Manage medications, coordinate care, and provide patient and family education
  • Participate in cardiovascular care across multiple subspecialties as the practice grows
  • Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation
