About the role
We are seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments
- Collaborate with cardiologists on treatment plans
- Administer medications
- Conduct diagnostic tests such as EKGs and stress tests
- Educate patients and families on heart health
- Ensure documentation adheres to regulations
- Work as part of a team
- Manage complex patient care
Qualifications
Required:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Active and unrestricted license
- DEA certification
- BCLS/CPR certification
- At least 6 months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
Preferred:
- Cardiology experience
- EMR documentation skills
- Training will be provided
Ideal candidates also possess strong organizational skills, are capable of prolonged standing, and can lift up to 20 lbs.
