Make an impact using your advanced degree to enhance quality patient care, amplify communication between physicians, family members, and the health care team. As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will perform acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures in collaboration with attending physicians and residents. Lead quality and evidence-based care initiatives to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities

- Lead quality and evidence-based care initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience required in Cardiology.
- Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in Cardiology preferred.
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required.
- MSN required.
- Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Practitioner, or by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure.
- Certification by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants) or CRNP (Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner).
- BLS certification required.
- May require ACLS certification.
- May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support).
- Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
- This position requires wearing a respirator as part of the job requirement.

Schedule
