About the role
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specializing in neonatal intensive care, working within a collaborative NICU team alongside neonatologists, residents, and nursing staff. Responsible for providing advanced care to critically ill and recovering infants, including high‑risk deliveries and ongoing patient management.
Responsibilities
- Attend deliveries and manage high‑risk infants, including those less than 35 weeks gestation.
- Perform admissions, history‑taking, and physical assessments.
- Manage NICU patients with procedures such as intubation, umbilical line placement, chest tubes, arterial puncture, arterial line placement, and ventilator management.
- Provide continuous assessments and treatments, ensuring patient safety and care quality.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Proficiency in neonatal procedures and critical care management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Work Environment
Work in Level 2 and Level 3 NICUs with a focus on innovation, learning, and excellence in neonatal care. Emphasis on a caring, safe, and inclusive environment that promotes professional growth and community service.
Schedule
Flexible shift options (8, 16, or 24 hours) with no outpatient clinics.
